OnLine Gallery: a new format of some "quarantine" communication brings information, pro-links and through-clicks to our videos, photo galleries about our collection, artists, exhibitions, selected works, and you can even create at home - we bring various online workshops "live" with steps and instructions not just for kids. We offer some workshops, programmes without time limit, with a specific start date: in this way you can return online to your favourite programme whose end date – June 30th, 2020 – is for us an optimistic prospect for a possible return to normal life!

We start: WEDNESDAY, April 22nd, 2020

Today is EARTH DAY (celebrated since April 22nd, 1970), that we also remember to remind ourselves once a year (if not more often) of our dependence on valuable gifts that are provided to us through the Earth ... EARTH DAY is dedicated to the work of Miroslav Brooš - "Earth Donation", that he has been implementing within the project cycle "Earth Transfer" since 1989. Miroslav Brooš says: "... Earth Day ... I see the Earth ... and the soil ... and many good people who live on and from it ... so I remember "Donating ... of the Earth", a project several years ago (...I have been working with the soil for a long time and I have been implementing "Transferring ... of the Earth" since about 1988... :-)). During the anniversary of the split of Czechoslovakia, I addressed many people from the former Czechoslovakia to give me something specific, for many until then "quite ordinary", samples of the soil ... so that I could examine the memory of the material, the memory of the place, the memory of people, the environment and the landscape ... with the intention of connecting them and returning the soil to the Earth at another specific place ... I did not finish the project Transferring the Earth - "Donation ... of the Earth" ... the soil is related to people, their environs, thinking, the existence itself..."

The processual work - the installation "Donation of the Earth" is in our gallery in the exterior - in the Dufart gallery since October, 2012. It originally had a size of 120x120x12 cm, but the Earth is gradually taking it back...
