A unique thematic exhibition presents works of thirty artists from  the collection of the Gallery of Spiš Artists, focusing on individual universes, reflecting astronomical phenomena and the atmosphere of the night sky in a broader context within individual wholes. Participation of four foreign  guests (CA, ES, UA) creates a constructive dialogue and opens up space for reflection. Cycle of exhibitions  Collection in dialogue. 

 

The exhibition is divided into four wholes: Micro and Macro Universe presents the world as the sum of a number of individual universes.  Solar / Eclipse depicts the Sun as one of the oldest symbols of time, life and energy.  Walking through the Night Landscape and the City leads from nature immersed in the ink of shadows to the city illuminated by the electric light of night. Night Sorrows are an insight into the unknown corners of the artist’s soul. The atmosphere of the night promotes  a melancholy state of mind, when the most intimate obsessions, hallucinations and dreams are presented.
